Automation and efficiency at Jorge Chávez International Airport: a new automated verification experience

Jorge Chávez International Airport, Peru's main air terminal, takes an important step towards modernization with the implementation of an advanced boarding pass verification system, installed by Incomelec.

With this project, Incomelec reaffirms its regional leadership in airport solutions and continues to expand its presence in Latin America, driving automation and efficiency in airport processes.

The new verification system features Skylane motorized walkways, designed to ensure a continuous and safe flow of passengers. Each unit is equipped with a document reader that automatically validates boarding passes. In seconds, the system verifies the information and automatically grants access, without the need for staff intervention.

This innovative solution enhances the passenger experience, reduces wait times, and contributes to faster, safer, and contactless passenger access control. Furthermore, Skylane moving walkways are designed to high standards of quality and safety, ensuring reliable operation even in high-traffic airports.

The implementation of this boarding pass verification system represents a key advance in the technological transformation of the Jorge Chávez International Airport, strengthening its operational capacity and aligning it with global trends in airport solutions.

At Incomelec, we combine technology, engineering, and experience to develop passenger access control solutions tailored to the needs of each airport. This project reaffirms our commitment to innovation and operational excellence, connecting people, technology, and mobility at every control point.
