Veripax Passenger Access Control System at El Dorado Airport

Veripax is a passenger access control system that includes motorized walkways with boarding pass readers and facial biometrics for passenger processing at airports. It has so far been implemented in the international departures security area of El Dorado Airport.

However, this same passenger control system can be used in boarding areas and VIP lounges and in all processes where boarding pass reading may occur.

Its initial implementation involves reading this document. However, the system includes a camera, components, and everything necessary for facial recognition biometrics in a fly-to-gate process. In this process, once a passenger checks in on their phone or at the airport, a photo is taken that becomes their token ID. This is then linked to their boarding pass, allowing them to pass through all gates and processes from arrival at the airport to boarding using only their face, without presenting any documents.
