Passenger Access Control, José María Córdova International Airport Biomig System

by Admin on

The José María Córdova International Airport in Medellín has modernized its immigration control infrastructure with the installation of passenger access control walkways. We have supplied and implemented 17 motorized walkways: 10 in emigration and 7 in immigration.

Motorized walkways are an advanced solution that allows for more agile and efficient management of passenger flow through immigration control. Thanks to this technology, passengers can move through quickly, reducing waiting times, which is crucial in a high-traffic airport like Medellín's.

Benefits of automated walkways:

  • Streamlined immigration process with significantly shorter wait times.

  • Greater efficiency in passenger traffic management, especially during peak hours.

  • Improved user experience by reducing bottlenecks in immigration areas.

The installation of these motorized walkways in Medellín is just one of Incomelec's many contributions to the country's most important airports. We have been a trusted partner for passenger access control solutions, building our reputation on large-scale projects that require robust, high-tech systems.

With a solid track record of involvement in key airport projects in Colombia, Incomelec continues to position itself as a leading player in the modernization of immigration control and the efficient management of passenger flow.
