Pedestrian access control—Corficolombiana Building
Corficolombiana Building—FirstLine 960 Automated Walkways
The Corficolombiana Building controls pedestrian access with automated walkways from Automatic Systems, supplied by Incomelec.
Corficolombiana is the largest financial corporation in Colombia. Its services provide the necessary capital to finance and invest in the country's major development projects, promoting the creation, growth, reorganization, merger, and expansion of all types of businesses.
The corporation is the result of a merger with the country's leading financing companies and currently belongs to Grupo Aval, one of the country's main economic and financial conglomerates.
Although this building is over 30 years old, it has invested in strengthening its structures and technologies to provide security and control access for employees and visitors.
In this regard, in 2019, Incomelec was selected to supply, install, and configure the optimal equipment solution.
Following a needs assessment, it was determined that the solution should consist of Automatic Systems walkways integrated with a card-based access control system.
The following details the implemented equipment:
-
Three Automatic Systems First Lane walkways located in the central and right sections of the building's main entrance.
-
One manual door for people with reduced mobility, equipped with an electromagnet.
-
Three Incomelec card readers for installation in the walkways, each with a card collection bag and keyed doors.
-
A glass enclosure for the building lobby.
This project was received with satisfaction by the client. We're sharing photos of the result!
