Access control for passengers on mass transport at Airports (Rumichaca International Bridge border immigration control).

by Yizeth on

Modernization of migration control at the Rumichaca International Bridge.

The Rumichaca International Bridge, the main border crossing point between Colombia and Ecuador, has been transformed with the implementation of an automated migration control system that optimizes the flow of travelers and strengthens border security.

This modernization, developed with Incomelec's technology and expertise, incorporates TRS370 floor-to-ceiling turnstiles designed for fast, reliable, and secure operation. Thanks to this equipment, the validation and control process for each passenger takes less than 30 seconds, significantly reducing wait times and preventing congestion during peak traffic periods.

The new passenger access control systems allow for more efficient management of migration flows, ensuring comfort, speed, and accuracy at every step. Their robust design and high-security technology guarantee a smooth experience for both Colombian and Ecuadorian travelers, marking a step toward smarter and more organized borders.

With this implementation, the Rumichaca Bridge joins the new era of border self-management, promoting faster, safer, and contactless processes. This project reinforces the regional vision of building more modern and sustainable infrastructure, in line with global trends in airport and migration solutions.

At Incomelec, we continue to drive smart mobility in Latin America with passenger access control solutions that combine technology, engineering, and efficiency. Every project reflects our commitment to innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
