iCLASS SE® smart cards are part of HID Global's iCLASS SE platform for adaptability, interoperability and enhanced security. The iCLASS SE 13.56 MHz contactless smart card technology offers a new class of digital credentials that can be securely provisioned and embedded in fixed cash registers and mobile devices.
- Adaptable: readers, now available with magnetic stripe, can interface with a wide variety of technologies (iCLASS® Seos™, iCLASS SE, iCLASS®standard, MIFARE® and MIFARE DESFire®EV1 with custom data models) and formats including mobile devices using Seos.
- Maximum security - provides layered security on top of the card content that adds further protection to identification data thanks to the iCLASS SE platform's Secure Identity Object® (SIO®) data model.
- On-premise programmable : enables secure, zero-downtime upgrades and extended lifecycle.
- Standardized communications (OSDP): Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for secure, bi-directional communication.
With a focus on sustainability, iCLASS SE readers include intelligent power management that reduces power consumption by up to 75%. The readers are also manufactured using recycled content, which contributes to LEED sustainable building certification.
