Check Mig: the new development by Incomelec and Migración Colombia.

Incomelec has been working for several years on the implementation and development of systems that facilitate the processes of entry and exit of people from the country.

Check Mig is the new development from Incomelec. This application fulfills four main objectives: facilitating the entry and exit of travelers, reducing processing times, increasing biosecurity measures, and minimizing contact between passengers and immigration personnel.

This application is currently available for iOS and Android and is a mandatory requirement for travel to or from Colombia. The idea behind the application is to preload all travel-related information, making the interview with immigration personnel much faster and more efficient. It is important to clarify that this requirement applies to air, land, sea, and river travel; and must be completed from 24 hours before the trip until one hour before check-in closes.

Some of the information that passengers must provide includes: itinerary details including destinations and dates, all passenger information, purpose of travel, accommodation details, and information related to the passenger's health status.

To facilitate access for all passengers, the application can be downloaded to all mobile phones or accessed through the Migración Colombia website, from where you will be redirected to the Check Mig website. The passenger will receive an email confirmation of the process, which is essential to complete the trip.
