Surrounded by ancient archaeological sites and home to monuments and buildings of immense historical interest, it is a true mecca for historians and enthusiasts. Alexandria is known as the second most important city after Cairo. It was founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC to become a port area, a quality it still holds today as it is home to the country's main port. To effectively control the movement of various citizens, the Egyptian National Railways were the first railway lines established in Africa and the Middle East, and the second in the world after the United Kingdom. The Egyptian National Railways handles 1.4 million passengers daily. Thanks to the excellent work of the sales, technical, engineering, and support teams, Incomelec reached the cities of Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt! In 2021, the following were installed in the Alexandria project: - 73 TGH racks at Egyptian Station, located in Alexandria. - 15 TGH racks on the first floor of Sidi Gaber Station. - 42 TGH racks on the second floor of Sidi Gaber Station. Incomelec was responsible for the supply, installation, and commissioning at the different stations of the Egyptian National Railways of more than 310 TGH 800 and TGH 810 automatic walkways from Automatic Systems. These walkways help to control access to the thousands of passengers who circulate daily in this place. In addition to ensuring the one-to-one passage of hundreds of millions of people a year, it provides them with different payment options through technology. From entry with a QR code to entry with a debit or credit card through the open payments protocol. Now in Alexandria, he discovers that with Incomelec there's no better way to get by.
